Principles of routing in ownMap
Routing lets your visitors see how to get from one point to another on your map. This feature can be enabled in the map's settings (see Create a map) — but it first needs to be prepared, by positioning zones and/or circulation axes on your floor plans.
Setting up routing
The various routing elements presented in Principles of routing are simple to set up on your map.
Calculation phase
Once the routing elements (zones, circulation axes, level changes) have been placed or edited, a route calculation phase must be run so that the changes are taken into account when visitors search for a route.
Accessibility mode (PMR)
The "Reduced mobility" option lets a visitor calculate a route while avoiding inaccessible obstacles (stairs, etc.).
