Subscriptions and billing

ownMap offers three plans:

Essential and Premium plans are available with an annual commitment (€588 excl. tax/year for Essential, €1188 excl. tax/year for Premium) or with no commitment, billed monthly at a slightly higher rate — the annual commitment saves roughly 17%.
:::info Free trial Essential and Premium plans can be tried free for 30 days. A card is required to start the trial, but it is only charged once the trial period ends. :::
Subscribing to a plan
- From the "Pricing" page, choose the Essential or Premium plan.
- If you are not yet logged in, you will be prompted to create an account or log in.
- Choose between annual-commitment billing or no-commitment monthly billing.
- Payment is processed via Stripe, a secure online payment platform.
- Once payment is confirmed (or the free trial started), the subscription is activated immediately, and a confirmation email is sent along with the invoice.
Managing your subscription
The "My subscription" page shows your current plan, its renewal date, and lets you:
- Upgrade from Essential to Premium: the change is immediate, and the price difference for the remaining period is billed pro rata.
- Downgrade from Premium to Essential: the change takes effect at the end of the current period, with no refund; Premium access remains active until that date.
- Cancel renewal: access to the paid plan remains active until the end of the already-paid period, after which the account reverts to the Basic plan.
Billing and payment
Payments are handled by Stripe. Depending on the option chosen at subscription, you are charged once a year (annual commitment) or every month (no commitment); the subscription renews automatically at the due date. You can cancel this renewal at any time from the "My subscription" page. Invoices are sent by email.
